Märklin – a grand entrance in Bergün
Märklin will be demonstrating in Bergün, in the railroad village on the fairgrounds,
that the world record attempt also works in small scale.
The leading model train builder from Göppingen is bringing 25 of its „Capricorn“ multiple units with four cars each –
all in 1:22.5 scale of the LGB type, the model for garden model railroads – to the mountains of Graubünden.
Märklin is rebuilding the record-breaking train, which is 1.91 kilometers long in the original, on an extra track of 75 meters.
