LGB Novelty 2019 – Ge 6/6 II of the RhB

Erstmals tauchte die Ge 6/6 II der Rhätischen Bahn im LGB Katalog 2006 auf.
Auf Seite 388 „Die LGB-Zukunft“ sieht man im Hintergrund ein Vorbildfoto der Ge 6/6 II 702 mit Rundleuchten in roter Fargebung.
Als „Vorschau: Neuheiten 2008“ wurde die RhB E-Lok Ge 6/6 II bereits 2007 angekündigt.
Leider wurde das Projekt von Mäklin mit dem Rundschreiben vom März 2009 offiziell abgesagt.

Jetzt erfolgt ein neuer Anlauf.
Die Variantenvielfalt mit 7 Modellen (Nummerierung: 701–707) in verschiedenen Lackierungen der Epochen (grün und rot)
inklusive der Fensteranordnung und des Frontlampen-Design könnten im Formenbau berücksichtigt werden –
also ein Erfolgsmodell für viele Jahre.

Ge 6/6 II of the Rhaetian Railway LGB Catalog 2006 appeared for the first time.
On page 388 „The LGB Future“ you can see a model photo of Ge 6/6 II 702 with round lights in red colour in the background.
As „Preview: Novelties 2008“ the RhB E-Lok Ge 6/6 II was already announced in 2007.
Unfortunately the project was officially cancelled by Mäklin with the Circular from March 2009.

Now there is a new start.
The variety of variants with 7 models (numbering: 701-707) in different paint finishes of the epochs (green and red)
including the window arrangement and front lamp design could be taken into account in mould making –
a successful model for many years to come.

Eröffnung Miniaturwelt Smilestones

   

Heute eröffnet die Miniaturwelt Smilestones in Neuhausen, Schweiz
Today the miniature world Smilestones will open in Neuhausen, Switzerland.

Seit Januar 2018 wird fleißig gehämmert, geklopft und geklebt,
sodass der 1. Abschnitt „vom Säntis bis zum Rheinfall“ ab November besichtigt werden kann.
Am 24.11.2018 ist es endlich so weit und die Miniaturwelt am Rheinfall öffnet ihre Türen.
350 Häuser und Brücken, 80 Züge, 400 Automobile, 1’000 Meter Bahngleise, 15`000 Figuren
und Schweizer Meilensteine „en mi­ni­a­ture“ werden in Szene gesetzt.
Am Tag der Eröffnung erwartet die Besucher ein Programm mit einer Vielzahl von Aktionen und Attraktionen.

Since January 2018 there has been a lot of hammering, knocking and gluing
so that the first section „from the Säntis to the Rhine Falls“ can be visited from November.
On 24.11.2018 the time has finally come and the miniature world at the Rhine Falls opens its doors.
350 houses and bridges, 80 trains, 400 automobiles, 1,000 metres of railway tracks, 15,000 figures
and Swiss milestones „en miniature“ are set in scene.
On the day of the opening, visitors can expect a programme with a variety of activities and attractions.
