Kiss Information – 18. Juni 2019:
Sehr geehrte Kiss Modellbahnen Kunden,
unsere Ankündigung anfangs Jahr, die DFB HG 4/4 in 2m zu realisieren, blieb nicht unbemerkt
und auch Mitbewerber haben sich dazu entschieden, dieses interessante Vorbild ins Modell umzusetzen.
Diese Doppelankündigungen hat aber einige Kiss Modellbahnkunden etwas verunsichert und uns die Frage gestellt,
ob Kiss denn nun das Modell trotzdem realisiert?
Diese Frage können wir mit JA beantworten.
Unser Fahrplan sieht vor, dass wir nach dem Abschluss der Kontrollen der 3D Zeichnungen,
mit dem Musterbau beginnen und erwarten ein fertiges Muster im Herbst 2019.
Danach geht es in die Serienproduktion.
Da unser Modell keine Druckgussproduktion ist – sondern jedes Modell, einzeln und von Hand,
aus mehreren tausend Einzelteilen zusammenlötet wird,
wird die Fertigstellung der Kiss HG 4/4 wohl etwas mehr Zeit in Anspruch nehmen.
Wir sind sicher, dass das Resultat über die etwas länger Wartezeit mehr als nur hinwegtrösten wird
und Sie ein Modell als Meisterwerk mit hohem Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis erhalten.

LGB Information – 19. Juni 2019:
Lieber LGB-Freund, lieber Freund Schweizer Bahnen,
in den letzten Tagen wurden wir vereinzelt damit konfrontiert, dass es eine Doppelentwicklung sei.
Ein Mitbewerber hat diese Lok – allerdings deutlich nach Beginn unserer Konstruktion – auch angekündigt,
gestatten Sie uns daher ein offenes Wort:
Bereits letztes Jahr im Sommer haben wir mit der Arbeit an dieser Lok begonnen,
so dass die Konstruktion jetzt fertig und der Bau der Formen in Arbeit ist.
Wir wollten diese Lok nicht nur mit Vorbildfotos ankündigen,
sondern Ihnen gleich die Ausführung der Lokomotive anhand der fertigen Konstruktionsdaten
und möglichst bald mit einem ersten Muster zeigen,
damit Sie sich einen genauen Eindruck von diesem hochdetaillierten Modell machen können.
Daher erfolgte unsere Ankündigung erst in diesem Frühsommer und nicht gleich zu Beginn der Arbeiten im Sommer 2018.
Ein erstes Muster haben wir mittlerweile bereits erstellt und freuen uns darauf,
Ihnen dieses nach der Begutachtung und Optimierung hier an dieser Stelle in Kürze vorstellen zu können,
damit Sie wissen, was Sie von uns erwarten können.
Die Lok wird gleich nach der Spielwarenmesse 2020 ausgeliefert.
Wir werden die Lok in der Tradition unseres Hauses und unserer Highend-Modelle
in der bewährten Mischbauweise Druckguss / Messing-Schleuderguss herstellen.
Nur damit wird eine ausreichende Stabilität der tragenden Teile – vor allem des Lokrahmens –
unter besonderer Berücksichtigung der Kräfte im Zahnradbetrieb gewährleistet werden kann.
Auch ist die erforderliche hohe Präzision der Teile – vor allem im Bereich des Antriebs und des Zahnradantriebs –
und damit ein einwandfreier Betrieb des Modells nur so zu erreichen.
Die Anfertigung hochdetaillierter und hochpräziser Teile aus Druckguss ist eine Kernkompetenz unseres Hauses,
in der wir bereits über eine jahrzehntelange Erfahrung verfügen.
Selbst wenn der Konstruktions- und Werkzeugaufwand unter Berücksichtigung der Anforderungen des Formenbaus
ungleich anspruchsvoller und kostenintensiver ist als bei einer aus vielen Einzelteilen aus Messingblech zusammengebauten Lok.
Da wir die Lok in einer auf nur 399 Stück limitierten Edition herausbringen,
sind die Kosten für z.B. die teuren Stahlformen für dieses aufwändige Verfahren sehr hoch.
Diesen Aufwand halten wir aber – zusammen mit den feindetaillierten Ansetzteilen aus Messing-Schleuderguss –
absolut für gerechtfertigt.
So können wir Ihnen ein feindetailliertes, voll funktionsfähiges aber auch robustes und vor allem werthaltiges Modell anbieten.
Die hohe Betriebssicherheit in Verbindung mit der limitierten Auflage
garantiert Ihnen ein voll funktionsfähiges und wertvolle Sammlerobjekt.
Selbstverständlich wird es auch für dieses Modell einen entsprechenden Reparatur- und Ersatzteilservice von unserem Haus geben.

Dear Kiss model railway customers,
our announcement at the beginning of the year to realize the DFB HG 4/4 in 2m did not go unnoticed
and also competitors have decided to implement this interesting example in the model.
But these double announcements made some Kiss model railroad customers a little insecure and asked us the question,
if Kiss would realize the model anyway?
We can answer this question with YES.
Our timetable provides that after the completion of the checks of the 3D drawings,
will start with the prototype construction and expect a finished prototype in autumn 2019.
After that it will go into series production.
Since our model is not a die-casting production –
but each model, individually and by hand,
is soldered together from several thousand individual parts,
the completion of the Kiss HG 4/4 will probably take a little more time.
We are sure that the result will more than comfort you after the longer waiting time
and you receive a model as a masterpiece with a high price/performance ratio.

Dear LGB friend, dear Swiss Railways friend,
in the last few days we have been confronted with the fact that it is a double development.
A competitor has also announced this locomotive – but clearly after the start of our construction,
so allow us an open word:
We started working on this locomotive last summer,
so that the construction is now finished and the construction of the moulds is in progress.
We did not only want to announce this locomotive with model photos,
but we also wanted to show you the execution of the locomotive based on the finished construction data.
and show it as soon as possible with a first sample, so that you can get an exact impression of this highly detailed model.
Therefore our announcement was made in early summer and not at the beginning of the work in summer 2018.
We have already created a first sample and are looking forward to it,
After the assessment and optimization, we will be able to present this to you here shortly,
so you know what you can expect from us.
The locomotive will be delivered immediately after the International Toy Fair 2020.
We will manufacture the locomotive in the tradition of our company
and our high-end models in the proven mixed construction die casting / brass centrifugal casting.
This is the only way to ensure sufficient stability of the load-bearing parts
– especially the locomotive frame – with special consideration of the forces in gear operation.
Also, the required high precision of the parts – especially in the area of the drive and the gear drive – can be guaranteed.
and thus to achieve a flawless operation of the model only in this way.
The production of highly detailed and high-precision die-cast parts is a core competence of our company,
in which we already have decades of experience.
Even if the design and tooling costs, taking into account the requirements of mould making, are
is much more demanding and cost-intensive than a locomotive assembled from many individual parts made of brass sheet.
Since we are releasing the locomotive in a limited edition of only 399 pieces,
the costs for e.g. the expensive steel moulds for this complex process are very high.
However, we consider this effort to be absolutely justified –
together with the finely detailed attachments made of brass centrifugal casting.
So we can offer you a finely detailed, fully functional but also robust and above all valuable model.
The high operational reliability in combination with the limited edition guarantees you a fully functional and valuable collector’s item.
Of course, there will also be a corresponding repair and spare parts service for this model from our house.
