Lok-Brand durch Strom-Kurzschluss / Locomotive fire due to current short circuit

Beim Überfahren eines Weichenherzstückes gab es einen Kurzschluss.
Nachdem ein Notruf bei der Lokleitstelle einging, begab sich der LGB Feuerlöschzug unverzüglich zum Brandort.
Durch den Einsatz der Wasserkanone des Spritzenwagens konnte das Feuer „zügig“ gelöscht werden.

There was a short circuit when the switch frog was passed over.
After an emergency call was received by the locomotive control center,
the LGB fire-fighting train immediately went to the scene of the fire.
By using the water cannon of the fire engine, the fire could be extinguished „quickly“.
